In October, the Labyrinthe de Merville welcomes you every weekend and during the All Saints’ Day holidays, we are open every day from 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM (last admission at 5:00 PM)!
On October 26th and 27th : Historical festivities !
Inhabited by knights, money changers, crossbowmen, or infantry soldiers, a medieval village unfolds in the park, where adults and families are invited to visit the lords’ tents, dress up in costumes, and learn about period cooking, crafts, and ancient combat.
The spectacle continues into the 18th century, featuring a royal marine infantry unit practicing shooting and World War II resistance fighters in action.
Demonstrations, performances, and workshops punctuate these two days out of time, orchestrated by seven companies.

On October 26th, starting at 7.30pm : The Belle Epoque by Night
The Belle Époque comes back to life from 7:30 PM, with illuminated facades and candlelit pathways. Around twenty costumed characters will alternate between dances, living tableaux inspired by photos taken at the château at the end of the 19th century, and parades through the ceremonial rooms and terraces.

On November 3rd : Halloween
Dust off the old fairy tales from your childhood because this year, the chosen theme is “Fairy Tales“! Just the thing to reassure our little ones! This event also offers a new way to discover Halloween costumes, inspired by a different era.
Come meet all your favorite fairy tale characters: the Snow Queen, Captain Hook, the Addams Family, and many more!!

The Bric à Brac Company presents its brand-new show featuring a giant puppet! The parade is inspired by the tale of Little Red Riding Hood and is sure to captivate both young and old! An exclusive show at the Merville Maze!

Castle and maze of merville:
Discover the new theme Tales & Legends in Family. Will you be able to solve the puzzles proposed by Icarus, the park‘s mascot?! Test your knowledge of the Little Red Riding Hood, Snow White but also the Lion King.
Come and get lost in Europe’s largest boxwood labyrinth, solve the challenges and riddles of the Tales & Legends theme of the Enigma Trail, or take a free walk through the completely shaded park and the “Dedal” part of the labyrinth, which traces 250 years of history of the castle and its occupants with the help of a mobile app and display panels.
Guided tours of the castle with the Castle route take place at 11:30 am, 2 pm, 3:30 pm and 5 pm (please arrive 20 minutes before the touring time). Limited places, reservation recommended. The tour guide speaks english, and an english leaflet will be handed to you aswell.
